Hy there, spamc takes a size argument that you can include to scan stuff larger than 250k. -s size: specify max message size, any bigger and it will be returned w/out processing [default: 250k]
I just installed (for the first time) SA 2.43 on our AIX 4.3 mail-server.
Perl is 5.005_03.
The SA itself seems to be running very good.
What makes a problem is spamd/spamc.
In principle it is up and running: but only for E-Mail smaller than approx. 250 kB. Anything above 250 kB goes "un-assassinated" to the users.
I read that upgrading to Perl 5.6 should solve the problem but unfortunately I can't do that at the moment...
Please (also) reply by E-Mail, since I don't get the mailing list.
remember, that the time to scan increases exponetially while the msg size grows. if you go much higher than 250k, you will see fairly long delays.
