One thought on the idea that doesn't get much attention in prior spam teergrubing discussions. I'd prefer to see the connection handed off to a small process independant of the MTA. Currently, I'm unintentionally (RBLDNS denied, but connection hanging around for some reason) teergrubing around 60 machines on my primary SMTP server. That's fine and good to help rid the world of spam, but it ties up plenty of resources on my machine as well (2-4 MB of swap, 1-2 MB of RAM). I can spare the sockets, but it would be nice if a lightweight daemon could hang on instead of sendmail. --Rich _________________________________________________________ Rich Puhek ETN Systems Inc. 2125 1st Ave East Hibbing MN 55746 tel: 218.262.1130 email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] _________________________________________________________ ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Welcome to geek heaven. http://thinkgeek.com/sf _______________________________________________ Spamassassin-talk mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/spamassassin-talk
