Did you update to 2.42 recently? There seems to be a design flaw in that version that auto-whitelists spammers.
I had to clear my audo-whitelist.db this morning due to an excessive amount of spam getting through with large negative AWL adjustments. I've been running SA for about 6 months now and up until about 2 weeks ago it was catching probably 98% of my spam. But in the last few weeks I've noticed a steady increase in spam getting through. I've gone from 10 a week to 10 a day. Are spammers catching on to the filtering techniques SA uses and deliberately changing their techniques to score less? Or is this just a coinsidence? I've also noticed a lot of ISP's and email-hosts are now actively advertising Spam-filtering features, which makes me think that Spammers will have to modify their techniques if they want to stay in "business". It reminds me of the "anonymous call blocking" feature I added to my home phone. For a while, I didnt get any phone marketers calling me, but now I get tons of them and all of them say "Out of Area" on the caller ID screen. Gah!! Just wondering what your experiences are.
