| get though. I have tried to add a line to my user_prefs, but did not
| manage to get it right. Is there a proper way to do this?

You didn't say what the line that you added was. If you're the only one
using the system, creating a rule in local.cf would be a better option. I
don't recommend doing this, however, as you'll probably flag a lot of
legitimate mail also. An even better option would be to have your local
delivery agent handle this stuff. If you're using procmail, it'd be quite
simple. The best option would be to use a separate package for A/V.

| Thanks a lot (btw, is this a 'sound' practice at all, misusing SA for
| virus filtering?)

I would say, "Use the right tool for the job." SA wasn't designed for
antivirus, and I don't believe it should be. What's the saying? "Do one
thing, and do it well." or something similar.

For A/V, check out AMaViS at http://amavis.org/. There's even a branch that
integrates SA. I use each product separately (right tool for the job
concept), so I can't say how well that branch works, but it's out there...
