I just set up MIMEDefang on my system, set up as a sendmail milter, calling f-prot
and SpamAssassin.

I don't see how it would be possible for SpamAssassin to use any user preferences,
such as whitelist_from or all_spam_to, since SA gets called so early in the process.

Is it true that this type of configuration is only going to work wth site-wide
preferences for SA?

I notice that Matt Sergeant said they were using MIMEDefang at MessageLabs. How do
you handle user customization if SA is called before the mail is even accepted? Isn't
that even before copies of the mail have been split among individual recipients?
