Title: Spamd- will not add ****SPAM***** in subject

Hi all

I am using running a test server on debian with qmail and spam assassin

Spamd is running with these flags -F 0 -d

It seems that spamd recorgnize that a smap is beening send to the test mailbox (I am using qmail maildir)

And it had X-Status:Yes  to the header of the email

I have made some changes to the local.cf file to fource it to put a *****SPAM***** in the subject but the rules are ignored .

FYI when I run spamassassin -P (spam mail ) I get the result I want *****SPAM**** in the subject

So how can I force a site rules .

My configuration files are stored in /etc/spamassassin

Here is my local.cf file

skip_rbl_checks 0

required_hits 5

rewrite_subject 1

subject_tag ****SPAM****

report_header 1

#user_terse_report 1

defang_mime 0

any pointers will be most appreciated !!!
