I have read the man page for the Mail::Spamassassin::Conf > but the global details are not quite clear to me (I don't understand > them better). man Mail::SpamAssassin::Conf > 2. Where do I find the script that is used to start spamd (the one > I'll use in my /usr/local/etc/rc.d/ ??? If you are installing SA from ports, then there should be a spamd.sh-dist in that directory. Just copy it to spamd.sh, tweak the command-line arguments in the script if you wish, and it should start on boot. Note that the 'stop' argument does not work; you will have to kill the spamd process manually by PID. - -- [!] Justin R.
