My brother sent this to me and I thought I'd pass it on here since it seems
relevant. Personally I don't use the blacklists because I don't want the
extra network overhead/slowdowns but some of you may.

Apparently the guys running SPEWS are complete dicks, as the
email mentions, and SpamAssassin is set by default to trust
them.

Noone in their right mind would trust SPEWS directly, the problem is
people trust Spam Assassin, and Spam Assassin uses relays.osirusoft.com
with enough weight to kill an email, and osirusoft uses SPEWS. I don't
like spam any more then anyone else, but this situation is damn near
pathetic.
