Cloudmark launched company and product yesterday, and their CEO is a media-savvy
guy. We are monitoring them fairly closely, but I actually think the two
companies can get along OK for a little while. The reason we've been somewhat
more quiet is 2 things:

1) A growing number of people know about us already
2) We've announced the company, but product launch is coming soon -- we want to
release a stable product (SpamNet seems to crash Outlook farily often) that is
going to blow people away. That will be available July 1. Expect that when we
do release product, you'll see some DeerSoft publicity too :)

I got a kick out of the /. discussion, where the submitter was talking about
Cloudmark, then Taco gives SA a great plug, and then all the high-rated comments
are praising SA and knocking Razor (well, not all). We have a few features in
SA Pro which we think will make people prefer to use us for Outlook. I believe
Cloudmark has a few other markets in mind longer term, and since we'll probably
be enabling Razor in SAPro, they'll be getting signatures from our users anyway,
which should help them out. Actually, I think I need to sit and chat with Vipul
when I get back from honeymoon. I think I'll send him an email about that.
