|I am using spamd and postfix... two quick questions:
|
|1) Do I need to restart spamd or postfix after making changes to the
|local.cf?

Yes. I do a postfix stop, then restart spamd --> /etc/rc.d/init.d/spamd
restart then postfix start.

(Using the example Red Hat startup script for spamd)

|
|2) Is there any way to log the messages that are tagged as spam? Most
|of y users are Outlook users and the messages they forward don't have
|complete headers so I Can't see the score report-- and trying to
|educate them all about getting the headers seems fruitless

In Procmail, just
:0chi:
* ^X-Spam-Status: Yes
/var/spool/procmail/spam

where spam is a file to write MBOX format mail, read with Pine
