The lovely chaps at Horde (www.horde.org) are working on such a thing, I
believe.  It's not on their website yet, but there's something called "sam"
in their CVS repository.  Haven't had a chance to take a look at it yet, but
it *might* be what you're after.  (And it'll tie in nicely to their lovely
lovely webmail package, IMP)
