Hello fellow spam assassins,

If anyone is interested, I (finally) posted a script I've been using for
the past month or so in our hosting operation as an "advanced" content
filter with Postfix. It's an SMTP proxy/relay server (in Perl) which calls
SA to scan messages. Similar to spamproxyd but with a lot of the
functionality of spamd. I call it spampd. It is based on another script
called assassind <http://www.rudedog.org/assassind/> which I found on the
'net but have never seen mentioned here.

Info on spampd and the script itself can be found here:
<http://www.worlddesign.com/index.cfm/rd/mta/spampd.htm>

Comments welcome. Disclaimer: I'm no Perl expert so if there is something
glaringly wrong, please let me know. I do know that it's been working very
well here for over a month scanning up to several K messages per day.

I'd also like to take the opportunity to express my gratitude for
SpamAssassin and all the work that has gone into it. Truly an awesome
contribution, thank you!

Have fun,
-Max
