I am trying to run SpamAssassin with MailScanner and Exim, which must be a common scenario
When I start it up, I get the error message mkdir /root/.spamassassin: Permission denied at /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.6.0/Mail/SpamAssassin.pm line 614 This is presumably because MailScanner is set to run as mail.mail Making /root writeable by mail.mail allows SpamAssassin to run, but has unacceptable security problems. Can anyone suggest a fix, please? -------- Alan Stanier Essex University Information Systems Services Systems Group _______________________________________________________________ Don't miss the 2002 Sprint PCS Application Developer's Conference August 25-28 in Las Vegas -- http://devcon.sprintpcs.com/adp/index.cfm _______________________________________________ Spamassassin-talk mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/spamassassin-talk
