Welcome to binary floating point :-).  There is no such number as 2.9
(decimal) in binary floating point.  (with 48 places of precision it
is 2.899999999999999911182158029987476766109466552734)  In addition I
think SA does rounding on the scores.

Make the score lower (like 2.5) and you'll get the result you want.
