I've been running it on our SA devel box and passing our trolls through it as well as on my own mail. In a few more days I'll turn it up on our production server. > Kelsey and I have exchanged email about the spamd timeouts, he thinks it's > razor hanging it... Yep, it clearly is. The delay is quite obvious when talking to 64.90.187.2 which is the razor server that we latched onto. http://stats.sonic.net/public_cricket/grapher.cgi?target=%2Fservers%2Fspamcan;ranges=d%3Aw (If anyone wants the cricket tools or has anything else to share, please let me know...) Take a look at spamd times. I checked the razor list and didn't see any chatter about lagged servers but it sure looks like razor is suffering a bit right now. I've seen processing times >100 seconds... On a somewhat related note someone from razor called me up the other day (apparently we are one of the biggest contributers to the sig database) to talk about where razor was headed. I got the impression that we will be seeing some big changes in a while, hopefully one of them being that ISPs will be able to run local servers to prevent lag. Anyone on this list had any experience setting up a DCC server? -- Kelsey Cummings - [EMAIL PROTECTED] sonic.net System Administrator 300 B Street, Ste 101 707.522.1000 (Voice) Santa Rosa, CA 95404 707.547.2199 (Fax) http://www.sonic.net/ Fingerprint = 7F 59 43 1B 44 8A 0D 57 91 08 73 73 7A 48 90 C5 _______________________________________________________________ Have big pipes?
