I have been working in this since I posted last and I get the same behavior
from both postfix and qmail. When filtering mail with spamassassin using
maildrop for some reason spamd and spamassassin both are giving an exit code
that causes maildrop to pass a fial code back to the smtp server. This causes
the email to be defered which causes an endless loop of emails.

WHen i use the exact same everything but take spamc out of my .mailfilter I
don't get the bad exit codes anymore. So is there a way to turn off the exit
codes in spamassassin?

If not I need to figure someting else out because I've been playing with
different combinations not for a few weeks and I can't live with spamassassin
acting like this.
