I am trying to install SpamAssassin for the first time. Starting with Mail-SpamAssassin-2.1.tar.gz, I follow the README instructions, but "make" gives me the following error message:
make: *** No rule to make target spamassassin.raw', needed by spamassassin'. Stop. So, thinks I, I'll use the CPAN. Didn't get that one, but instead got a complaint that I failed 14/15 whitelist tests, so couldn't continue the install. Unfortunately I'm no perl whiz, so I need to ask for help.
