-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 For some reason spamc is not working for me. My mail never gets to spamassassin and I can't figure out why
Neither of these Procmail rules work :0fw | /usr/bin/spamc :0fw | spamc I have checked that spamc is actually in /usr/bin/. It has the same owner/group and permissions as all the other executables in that directory. Procmail is working and spamassassin is working which can be confirmed by independent tests as well as a combined test which was successfull: :0fw | spamassassin -P I've checked the procmail logs and it is executing the command to send it to spamc, but it just plain isn't working. Spamd is, of course, running as confirmed by 'ps ax | grep spamd' and the log output from -D: debug: ignore: test message to precompile patterns and load modules debug: using "/usr/share/spamassassin" for default rules dir debug: using "/etc/mail/spamassassin" for site rules dir debug: running header regexp tests; score so far=0 debug: running body-text per-line regexp tests; score so far=2 debug: running raw-body-text per-line regexp tests; score so far=2 debug: running full-text regexp tests; score so far=2 debug: Razor is available debug: Razor Agents 1.19, protocol version 2. debug: Read server list from /.razor.lst debug: 65933 seconds before closest server discovery debug: Closest server is 64.90.187.2 194.109.217.74 debug: Connecting to 64.90.187.2 194.109.217.74 ... debug: Connection established debug: Signature: 6fcf9dfbd479ed82697fee719b9f8c610a11ff2a debug: Server version: 1.11, protocol version 2 debug: Server response: Negative 6fcf9dfbd479ed82697fee719b9f8c610a11ff2a debug: Message 1 NOT found in the catalogue. debug: Agent terminated debug: is Net::DNS::Resolver unavailable? 0 debug: looking up MX for 'microsoft.com.' debug: MX for 'microsoft.com.' exists? 1 debug: is DNS available? 1 debug: checking RBL bl.spamcop.net., set spamcop debug: checking RBL dialups.mail-abuse.org., set dialup debug: checking RBL orbs.dorkslayers.com., set relay debug: checking RBL inputs.orbz.org., set relay debug: checking RBL relays.osirusoft.com., set relay debug: checking RBL blackholes.mail-abuse.org., set rbl debug: checking RBL relays.ordb.org., set relay debug: checking RBL ipwhois.rfc-ignorant.org., set rfci debug: checking RBL relays.mail-abuse.org., set relay debug: checking RBL relays.visi.com., set relay debug: checking RBL results in set relay for 127.0.0.6 debug: checking RBL results in set relay for 127.0.0.4 debug: 10351 Trying to get lock on /root/.spamassassin/auto-whitelist pass 0 debug: Tie-ing to DB file R/W in /root/.spamassassin/auto-whitelist debug: auto-whitelist (db-based): [EMAIL PROTECTED] scores 11/50.6 debug: AWL active, pre-score: 4.6, mean: 4.6 debug: Post AWL score: 4.6 debug: add_score: New count: 12, new totscore: 55.2 debug: DB addr list: untie-ing and destroying lockfile. debug: DB addr list: file locked, breaking lock. debug: is spam? score=4.6 required=5 I don't know if this matters, but I have also confirmed that spamc and spamd are in the same directory...
