An outstanding effort: thanks very much, speaking only for myself as a
overly-paranoid mailserver owner.

I do think that this is an excellent development model: focusing in
the short term after a major release on rolling up any showstopping
bugs, and then forking a new development tree after some concensual
stability level is achieved. That serves both masters equally well:
development proceeds pretty much unheeded, but those of us who are
unrepentant stick-in-the-muds can also benefit from a sense of
artifical stability (;-).

Thanks again to all the contributors for what is turning out to be a
very well-founded open development effort.
