I've seen that too, but not always on mail that SA has processed. I've not
investigated ...

My working theory is this: The message claims to be
Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable
but isn't.

Perhaps it isn't because it wasn't to begin with - but perhaps it isn't
quoted-printable -any more- because SpamAssassin's report broke it?

Do you have SpamAssassin configured to put the results in the body? I'm
morally offended by modifying user data, so I have:

rewrite_subject 0
report_header 1
defang_mime 0

all set in my preferences. Do you?
