Ricardo,

It sounds like everything is working fine. You just haven't created your first 
archive yet. Go to
Archive|Make Archive and fill in the fields in the dialog. Then add a 
connection to your archive
using Connection|Connect. See the quickstart guide 
(http://www.sourcejammer.org/quickstart.html)
for more detailed instructions.
