Hello, Nadir.

There is no database. SJ stores all files directly on the filesystem (which 
makes setup pretty
easy, I think).

Your SJ archives can be accessed via a web browser, but that is for read 
operations only. No
checkins/outs through a web interface. Regardless, SJ does need to run in a 
servlet contianer
(such as Tomcat) because it uses SOAP as its rpc protocol.
