Hi, Vishal.

I've tried to recreate your error on my own server and cannot do it. I can create,
delete, and
re-create an archive with the same name as many times as I like.

The error messages you've sent in your last message do not seem like they really
indicate a
problem.

The "no session" error basically means that your SJ session timed out. SJ should
create a new
session for you automatically, so this is really just a warning (though the message
says "Error").

The Null pointer error is a client-side error. This seems to just stem from the fact
that somehow
you did not succeed in connecting to your archive or your archive's root
project/folder was
corrupt somehow.

I'm not 100% clear on what exactly you did to get into this situation. Could you check
on a few
things for me?

1) Check in your server-side archives directory. Is there a directory in there with
the name of
your archive? In other words, SJ_HOME/archives/my-troublesome-archive.

2) Check in your server-side filesys directtory. Is there a .sja file with the name of
your
archive? In other words: SJ_HOME/filesys/my-troublesome-archive.sja.

3) Take a look at the .sja file using a text editor. Is the "path to archive root" the
same as the
path to the directory you found in question # 1 above?

4) Is the root file name = to 0?

5) Check the archive directory for your problem archive. Does it have a file, project,
label,
locks, source, version, and masterfile directory? It might also have a plugin-work
directory.

6) Check the project directory. Is there a file 0?

7) Open this file using a text editor. Does it look something like this:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<SJFileSysNode SJVersion="2.1.0.1"><Info CreatedDate="1092696451488" FileName="0
" NodeName="my-troublesome-archive" NodeType="1" ParentID="-1"
UniqueID="0"/><Children/><Remove
dChildren/></SJFileSysNode>

If you can find all these things then all systems should be go. Otherwise, well, I'm
as confused
as you.
