Hi Joe,

agree with you on both aspects - on the one hand it's more political
and opinionated (i.e. non-NPOV) that what @wikipedia would normally
feature, but on the other hand there has IMHO rarely been a political
issue with more directly impact on the work of Wikimedians.

I would suggest to simply retweet the Times, from @wikipedia,
@wikimedia and @wikicommons:
