Hi, I'm looking at this again and the backend with support for bulk operations is very different from the current MySQL version. In fact, the structure is more similar to the ODBC backend. I was wondering about having essentially 2 separate session implementations for MySQL, and instantiating the right one at runtime via the make_session factory method, based on what version of MySQL we have connected to. Does that sound reasonable?
Cheers Andy
