Hi Everyone, This week has been very busy for me and I am sure all of you too. As I mentioned last week, we recently released a new version of Elektra, 0.8.7, which includes code to merge KeySets (a major part of my GSoC project). I wrote a blog post about this new feature that explains how to use it. Check out the post here: http://community.libelektra.org/wp/?p=137
Also, my line plug-in has gotten merged into the upstream Elektra source code, I wrote a big post about this plug-in, which is very useful for my GSoC conffile merge, on the blog here: http://community.libelektra.org/wp/?p=116 Additionally, I used my experience writing this plug-in to write a tutorial on how to write a storage plug-in for Elektra. We really need developers to help us write new plug-ins as they are essential for Elektra to work. Please read my full tutorial here: http://community.libelektra.org/wp/?p=45 There has also been a lot of work on the actual project, we now have a working demo of our project and I am working on more posts explaining how it all works and how package maintainers can taker advantage of our automatic merging very easily. Those will all be done this week and I hope you enjoy them! Sincerely, Ian S. Donnelly
