Hello Scott...

Good News !!! Everything is working fine now....
I have just ran my first SOAP application successfully....and its all
because of you.
You have given me hope by making consistent replies to my emails....

I have found something interesting here while configuring all the things:

1. Once tomcat is running and you compile and deploy a service then
you need not restart the server (As you were not sure of this...At
least for first few
    examples it worked for me)

2. Apache Tomcat 4.0.1 is compatible with jdk1.2.2 and later
Apache Tomcat 4.0.3 is compatible with jdk1.3 and later (BEST FOR USING
SOAP -- my recommendation)
Apache Tomcat 4.0.4 is compatible with jdk1.3 and later (has some
problems as I mentioned in my previous mail
                                                        about Apache
Tomcat/4.0.4 - HTTP Status 500 - Internal Server Error)

My next step will be to use SOAP in my servlet call. Do you know any link
where I can find
some tutorial on this..

Thanks for all your time....
I appreciate your help.

Glad to hear you are making progress. You should put your classes in
%CATALINA_HOME%\webapps\soap\WEB-INF\classes. If your classes are in
packages, you would have to create the directory structure under this
directory to match the package name. After placing new classes in the
directory, I restart Tomcat, although I don't think I've checked to
determine whether this is really necessary.
