I completely agree.  I think anyone with illusions otherwise would lose them
upon reading the Design Goals of the SOAP 1.1 spec
(http://www.w3.org/TR/SOAP/#_Toc478383487).  The SOAP name was just too
appealing to pass on, I guess.
