snapweb uses a small mdns implementation written in go; avahi is much more than

Is the old avahi-daemon-using webdm package (source) still publicly available somewhere?

Or should we better make a separate avahi-daemon snap so that other services can use it, too (and not end up with two avahi-daemons running in parallel).
