FWIW, the more consumer-oriented 960 Pro M.2 NVMe SSD has the Polaris
controller, and is NVMe 1.2. Perhaps these have the Polaris controller (or some
variant of it) as well? At any rate, I currently have a 960 Pro M.2 working,
with the version check bypass on in nvme.conf. I haven't had the time to dig in
and look at which 1.2-specifc features this implements, however.
