We have qualified boxes with the X10 family of boards. Specifically the http://www.supermicro.com/products/motherboard/Xeon/C600/X10DRH-iT.cfm. With that, we explicitly set USB 3.0 support to disabled in the BIOS and that should be sufficient. There was a recent issue that the updated ACPI code would sometimes trigger ports to still be associated with the xhci controller (the thing that drives USB 3.0 ports), but that was just fixed. See https://smartos.org/bugview/OS-5658. So, I imagine that your board should work, but I'd always recommend getting a sample and verifying.
