Bit of a corner case, but, on our Cray XCs, the SlurmctldHost=sdb(IP.AD.DR.ES) is found at two different IP address, depending on whether you are "in the box" or on an external login node. Rather than maintain two copies of slurm.conf in the SimpleSync hierachies, we just maintained one, which has a Include /etc/opt/slurm/slurm-ctldhost.conf line in it.
