I am in process of switching to SLURM from a Torque/Moab setup . Could you please advise me on the following questions? 1) We use Moabs MAXPE and MAXPS limits per accounting group (which is not the same as Unix group for us; users group membership does not match their allocations membership). Is there a way to express these limits in SLURM? 2) What would be the correspondence between SLURM fairshare= shares and the raw usage as shown by sshare? What units are raw usage in (like, cpu minutes spent or something else? ) Do the units of the raw shares (as entered in fairshare= ) matter for priority calculations or they are arbitrary weights that will be normalized regardless, as fractions of the available resources? 3) When scheduling with cons_tres, are / should there be there tres shares (like, GPU hours) separate from CPU shares?
