I must be missing a setting somewhere, but when I try to submit a job array with several thousand jobs in it it fails with; sbatch: error: Batch job submission failed: Invalid job array specification
If I change the number of jobs, it works fine; e.g. #SBATCH --array=1-8218%8 fails but #SBATCH --array=1-1000%8 works I'm not forcing any limits in the slurm.conf that I see, and I tried changing maxjobcount to MaxJobCount=20000 just in case, but no help. Is there a job array size somewhere I'm not seeing? I'm not using accounting. Thanks! ashton
