Hello Rita: Not all of us are brain surgeons. I don't know all the particulars about how my machine works, it just does. I left the design to others. Did research on the internet and purchased a machine from someone who knew what they were doing. I just put the water in, plug it in and it goes. You can do this as well and it will be well worth your while. If you are going to buy water somewhere you are going to pay CRAZY prices for it. Hope as you continue to read you will gain more confidence in yourself to try. I bought a machine from SilverGen and so far am happy. Knowing that I have all these resources makes me breathe a little easier knowing that bugs don't have to scare me anymore. Doris
