good thing, especially early, but almost everyone recommends doing just that.  

Hmmm, I got way off-topic, didn't I?  hehehe   Well, on the subject of EIS, I 
wonder what the EIS I put in the dog's outside water bucket does for the birds

Although written by a vet (a very reputable vet at that), it applies to 
pets as well as humans because we are all  "simple-stomached."  I would 
think it's certainly worth a try before agreeing to surgery.
