MRSA is Methicillin Resistant Staph Aureaus. Its a strain of staph that has become resistant to Methicillin, or oxicillin, a popular antibiotic for staph infections. It is highly infectious and patients in nursing homes or hospitals that are found to have it are isolated from others. Shannon My grandson got it at school. there was a rash of it at the beginning of the school year. The doctor who did the culture told us there were many young kids with it. We treated it with ozone and ozonated oil. The doc wanted to hospitalize him with intravenous antibiotics. Edith
