Selenium and vitamin C have been mentioned as possible argyria
'preventatives'. More importantly (because argyria is neither likely nor
dangerous) selenium and Vitamin E have great potential to reduce the
risk of prostate cancer. Thats not a claim from from some vitamin pill
pusher, its in research published by the American Association for Cancer
Research.

I think most of the men in this group are mature aged so they should
find this interesting.
About selenium it says...."Although the results on skin cancer were
negative, the trial (of 974 men) produced a striking observation that
selenium supplementation was associated with a 63% reduction of prostate
cancer incidence."
About vitamin E it says... "the analysis uncovered a 40% decrease in
prostate cancer mortality in the tocopherol (Vit E) group."
This was in a study of 29,133 smokers in Finland.
Thank you to Hanneke for pointing me towards this information.

Hello V ... is that 4 Brazils for the daily allowance, or 4 nuts to
the ounce? We don't use ozs here anymore so I've lost touch with them.
You wouldn't get 40 brazils to the oz would you?
