I just purchased one of these to make my own distilled water...do I use my
alkaline tape to test the water or just use it...I would imagine it would be
better that the bottled water, being fresh and not stored in plastic for who
knows how long.

On my website there's an extensive article on "Water and Minerals." It's in the
section of Rife Handbook, which you can get to by clicking the first book cover
on the upper left.
I transfer my distilled water from plastic (in which it's made) to glass Mason
jars. And to raise the water's pH, I use Okalani Catalyst Water. If you want
