I am puzzled how algae could do anyting in a waterbed. Algae needs
light, and normally a waterbed is not going to be getting much light
inside. Maybe adding some dye to the water would eliminate the energy
source. But even more puzzling is where is the algae getting the CO2
from? Algae reduces CO2 to O2, but O2 and CO2 take exactly the same
amount of space, so the conversion should not generate any additional
volume at all. Almost sounds like biological transmutation.
