At the time I was upset because I still needed a pediatrician for well visits and any other illnesses that could come up. It was disconcerning to have such difficulty in locating someone who would see my newborn. If there were plenty of practitioners available it would be o.k., but it was very difficult to find anyone who would see us.

I didn't know about CS (or a host of other alternative treatments) at the time. And, I didn't have the money to pay out of pocket for alternative practitioners.

I was really sad at the time because I really liked those pediatricians. Now, I don't trust any doctor but sometimes I have to rely on them such as when all three of my kids got really sick a few months back and I finally had to succumb to antibiotics. I really, really tried to get Dean well without them (using every natural remedy I knew) but he just kept getting sicker and sicker no matter what I tried.

I learned about IV Vitamin C therapy after that event. I wonder if IV Vitamin therapy would have accomplished what the antibiotics did. However, I cannot locate ANYONE in this county who will do IV Vitamin C therapy. Sigh.

Anyway, I'm not upset anymore. I just realize how completely messed up our medical system is.

Blessings,
Lea Ann

I'm not sure why doctors "firing" patients upsets anyone. If a
physician does this then your philosophies about health care are not
compatible and this is a poor choice in doctors for you anyway. This
gives people the opportunity to find a practitioner with whom they are
more compatible.

As an alternative practitioner, I can understand not wanting to work
with people whose ideas of health care radically differ from my ideas.
I won't work with people who think I am here only to serve them as
they wish to be served. The way I see it is that I sell a service.
If you don't like my service, don't buy it. I don't want to work with
people whose fundamental beliefs in medicine are not compatible with
mine. I can't serve these people well.

Regards,
Catherine
