hi guys, i've been trying to get my girlfriend to come off the xanax... she was previously on buspar... and i think i'm finally starting to get thru to her (cuz she's starting to realize that taking them nearly every day can't be good) and i was wondering if anyone could recommend an alternative approach to these sorts of issues... most of the products that i have seen have either B-vitamins or herbs such as passion flower, valerian, kava, etc.... TIA!!! Hi dc Firstly, having just spent one and a half years coming off Seroxat I would like to commend you for encouraging your friend to leave these things behind. They really are danggerous. A good group for help with withdrawal (and withdrawal there certainly can be) is withdrawal and recovery @ yahoogroups.com. Your friend miht possibly have adrenal issues or thyroid issues or both, depending on the reason she is taking these drugs so I would look into that if it is relevant. I have a questionnaire I can forward to you to assess the possibility and degree of adrenal stress if you feel it would be useful. The Emotional Freedom Technique and Z-Point are two modalities that are free and very useful. _www.emofree.com_ (http://www.emofree.com) and _www.ZPprocess.com_ (http://www.ZPprocess.com) - hope I got those addys right.
