Looking at the Silverlon website prompted my memory
about an experience I had a few years ago.
I was mowing the lawn on a summer afternoon, wearing
short pants. I ran over an unknown hornets nest in the
ground. A second later, my legs were on fire. I looked
down and saw my entire calf area on both legs covered
with hornets. There couldn't have been less than 20 or
30 hornets on my legs.
I scraped the hornets off my legs with a stick and
rushed into the house and soaked two hand towels in CS
and wrapped them around both calves. In about 15
minutes, the pain had lessened significantly. I
rewrapped both calves two more times, about an hour
apart. An hour after the incident, the pain was almost
entirely gone.
The next day, there was not even a MARK on my legs! No
bumps, no swelling, no sign that I had even been
stung.
If I had not been convinced of the value of CS before,
I sure was now.
