I used to put ticks in capful of Velpar herbicide...about 99% Methonal.
He'd die..after doing a 100 laps for 20 minutes.
Dropping a tick onto a kerosene lamp burner is much faster..and about the
same number of laps run.
Conclusions?
Kerosene kills ticks faster than alchohol.
Ticks are really freeking tough little animals.
A tick can hold his breath till the MOON turns blue in the face.
...and when they get hot enough, they can fly.
BTW Fleas and ticks can't take fast drops in air pressure. You and your
puppy can.
Take them flying.
