I had already mentioned that ions cause dedifferentiation and redifferentiation 
of injured cells (and clotted blood cells I believe as well). Also I have heard 
that since dna has two copies of the sequences, that
silver and platinum will somehow cause damaged dna to correct itself from the 
undamaged copy.

I really cannot put much in there because I simply do not have a clue as to how 
it does these things.  If there is a theory out there that seems reasonable and 
seems to explain these things, I will be glad to try
to add it and give due credit.
