I had already mentioned that ions cause dedifferentiation and redifferentiation of injured cells (and clotted blood cells I believe as well). Also I have heard that since dna has two copies of the sequences, that silver and platinum will somehow cause damaged dna to correct itself from the undamaged copy. > > > As I read it -- the silver ions or silver "chunks" re-connect/re-wire the > skin's electrical potential after suffering a "skin break" -- an abrasion or > burn -- thus starting and accelerating the healing process. I really cannot put much in there because I simply do not have a clue as to how it does these things. If there is a theory out there that seems reasonable and seems to explain these things, I will be glad to try to add it and give due credit.
