What we saw here the past few days were the experts thrashing out some of their differences of opinion on the way towards being *able* to "explain it to a child." Now, would you *NOT* like the Silver List to occasionally host such debates? Have you considered that the last such discussion occurred some *years* ago? And didn't result then in anywhere near as much actual progress as we've just seen? Yeah. This is part of what we do here, too. Notice that I stepped in a couple of times to keep them focused and de- emphasize the personality conflicts that have long compounded this disagreement. I think it went okay. If it's been a little daunting to new people, I hope we only need to explain to them that the list is equally ready to address their basic questions. All they need to do is ask.
