Welcome Erna. You spoke of Dowsing, some years ago I used to dowze and I found the easiest way was to get #9[our size] iron wire;your size would be 3 to 4 millimetres diameter. Make two lengths approximately 50 centimetres in length, bend each into an L shape at 10 cntmtrs from the end.You hold one in each hand with the long ends horizontal to the ground and parallel, about 12 cms apart. You then pace slowly over the ground, criss crossing back and forth. If there is water below, they will swing apart, somet times quite quickly;this is a good indication of amount of water and how deep.Criss-crossing will help to pin-point the underground source.By marking the spots, some times you will discover an underground stream. As for poor well water,I would distill it,which is what I do with our poor tap-water.The cost of buying distilled water can be prohibitive, particularly if you are going to be treating large animals.A good distiller will pay for itself before too long. I hope this is of some use, Regards, Harold
