Subject: Re: CS>FW: Burned hand

It will wear off. When I got my thumbnail pierced, I soaked the thumb in
CS and alternated that with applying straight essential lavender oil.
I've done the same for a bad burn, and the nail/skin did turn an ugly
brown, but it either wore off or grew out. I ignored it, as the benefits
of the treatment (pain relief and fast healing) outweighed the cosmetic
effects, which are temporary after all. Chlorine bleach, or even
peroxide are strong enough to damage the healing tissue, and what would
be the point of that just to have whiter nails?
