Hi Ya'all, In looking for the upper limit of current density I have made some at 79 mA/sqin., and it looks like charcoal!! But in 24 hours most of the particles have settled out and the solution is almost totally clear.
So I filtered using two brown coffee filters, and was amazed at the amount of silver on the bottom filter. So then I checked the amount of change in conductivity that wouild come from the filters. Using two new filters I poured 12 oz, of 4.7 uS/cm Dw through it and measured the conductance at 24 uS/cm. First repeat with 12 oz. new DW Cf=16.2 uS/cm, Second repeat with 12 oz new DW Cf =10.3 uS/cm Third repeat Cf = 10.6 uS/cm So we can expect that the PWT readings after filtering will be altered .
