Odd.

I just sent a sample with and without CS to the lab.

The report stated the one without had "abundant" colonies of gram positives and "moderate"
colonies of gram negatives.

The one with CS [added to the original sample] contained "moderate" and "few"
respectively..

 Apparently the test didn't differentiate between dead bacteria and
live..but the dead ones did show up, so, it's probable that CS just kills
and doesn't destroy the bodies.
